Job Description:
The role of the Electrical Technician is to perform maintenance and repair tasks related to electrical equipment and machinery on production lines within the factory. The objective is to ensure that equipment operates efficiently and without interruption to maintain production flow and prevent unplanned stoppages that could impact manufacturing operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment and systems to ensure their functionality and safety.
  • Diagnose Malfunctions: Identify and analyze electrical faults that may occur during the operation of production lines.
  • Repair Faults: Repair or replace defective electrical components and assist in restoring equipment operation quickly and effectively.
  • Install Equipment: Assist in installing and setting up new electrical equipment and connecting it to production lines according to factory standards.
  • Stay Updated on Changes: Follow technical changes and updates in electrical equipment, using modern tools to ensure work efficiency.
  • Apply Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations in the factory to prevent electrical hazards.
  • Collaborate with Other Teams: Work closely with production and mechanical maintenance teams to ensure continuous operation without downtime.
  • Prepare Reports: Document maintenance activities and repairs, and write technical reports on equipment condition and future needs.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial production environment.
  3. Knowledge of PLC control systems and automation principles.
  4. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
  5. Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving technical problems efficiently.
  6. Commitment to safety and quality standards in the workplace.

  • Preferably Indian or Filipino
